December 2008
This December began with the Clinton Global Initiative sweeping through Hong Kong, attended by over four hundred guests and sponsors, comprising heads of state, ministers, visiting guests, the city's leading philanthropic enterprises as well as innovative leaders of non profit organizations, many of whom echoed each other with the message that kung-fu movie star Jet Li delivered loud and strong - we all need to begin thinking of each other as one family of people who have a responsibility to one another, not just in times of crisis - as with this year's earthquake in Sichuan and cyclone Nagis - but as a philosophy of life, not as the exceptions but as the rule by which we conduct our daily lives.
