"Yup little fella, I know just how you feel!"

These days people jump when a person sneezes or coughs in public, so you can imagine how many unwelcome glances I was getting last week when I made my rare public appearances in our fair city. (Yes, I'm a bit of a hermit these days, and last week was one of my more active weeks...)

IN fact, I was struck with a bout of continuous sneezing for most of Tuesday, so that by Wednesday morning I woke up with a fever, and a very sore throat. I have no idea what brought on the fit of sneezing, except that I'd been actively thinking about whether to adopt a rescued pet, more precisely, a cat. But, I think that's pretty much a moot idea at this point, as the mere thought of adopting a cat, has activated my allergic reaction, hence, probably a bad idea to adopt a pet cat.

Scratch that.

Perhaps I'll get a noctural flying critter as a pet, so what if they are bloodsucking mammals with rat faces and sharp fangs?! They still need TLC. Errr.

And besides, imagine the cool costumes I could come up viz zee live bat on my shoulder!
