IT's cold and flu season again, especially here in Hong Kong where the weather changes from hot to bone chillingly cold and damp...
Here's a tested and true remedy that should CURE you of your cold in one day or less -- but you MUST catch it at the very start, just when you're feeling achy and feverish. The remedy is simple and homespun, but it's worked for me every time --
INGREDIENTS needed:
1 large head of garlic
A tube of Vitamin C / Zinc tablets that dissolve in water per day (any brand will do -- I use Redoxin -- the objective is to flush your system with at least 8 glasses water and vitamins per day)
A box of breath mints (So your friends don't have to suffer)
Crush and chop two large cloves of garlic, and eat that first thing in the morning. Do chew a bit the garlic, so it has a chance to kill some germs in your mouth, then wash it down with a tablet of fizzy Vitamin C in a glass of water, followed by another glass as soon as you can manage to ingest two glasses of water. The rest of the day, remember to drink a glass of vitamin enriched WATER every hour or two until you finish the tube.
