IS THE DREAM ALIVE?
Or are people still judged by the color of their skin?
In honor of MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, iCubed.us wants to know how teens feel about RACE and RACISM. We’re looking for a well-written feature article on the subject. We want 800 words of original writing from a student’s perspective. Talk to your friends, interview your classmates – investigate the state of race relations today. The winning entry will receive US$100 and publication on iCubed.us. Writers must be aged 13 to 21 at time of submission.
The deadline for submission is Wednesday, February 27, 2008 and the article will be published on iCubed.us in the month of March when our monthly theme will be RACE and RACISM.
